I was born in Schwyz in 1975. My Dutch parents ran a hotel and restaurant in Gersau where I stood behind the washing sink as early as I can remember.


After completing a commercial apprenticeship I was attracted to the kitchen world once again and completed a chef apprenticeship at the Hotel Waldstätterhof in Brunnen.

Having worked in positions among others in Kazakhstan, Zurich, Zermatt und experiencing many culinary trips to South East Asia I decided to treat my guests with my own varied ideas and inspirations.

In 2007 the catering service 'Cook4u' was launched.
